I’ve been collecting the words I hear women use to describe midlife: elusive, bewildering, enchanting, bracing, raw, agonizing, confusing, revealing, powerful, purifying, disorienting.
These words then branch into tributaries of experience— stories of physical challenges, spiritual reckonings, emotional upheaval, deep healing. It is, for many women, a tectonic shift that for a time, can leave us without a map, or familiar bearings. At the mercy of strange coordinates.
I’ve been playing with the idea of what it means to locate ourselves in unknown terrain. To really feel into the surroundings of what is present and true. To give time and space and company to the questions that walk with us: what needs less energy, what needs more support, where does that belief come from, who am I without it?
These are micro-conversations I’ve been having in parking lots, grocery stores, with clients, in rambling voice notes with friends, but each time, I feel the larger, deeper conversation wanting to be held. Strange Coordinates is that conversation.
Held in group space, in a process-oriented way, with elements of guided somatic inquiry, group sharing, creative practices, therapeutic reflections, we will touch into themes of:
This is not a therapy group, though it is therapy-adjacent. Presence + care are deeply emphasized. It is also not a teaching space, but rather a guided exploration of locating, landmarking, and loving ourselves through a wild, wild season of life.

DWELL is the lantern I hang in the dark halls of Winter.
